You must purchase the short story and drama from the SU bookstore in the Commons; I will provide you with the URL for an online version of the poem. You must read, study, and analyze these works on your own--I cannot discuss them with you in class. The final exam for 102, composed by the English Department, consists of two parts:
-- multiple choice: 33 questions (11 each for short fiction, poetry, and drama) on the works you were assigned for the exam, and in general
essay: you will chose a topic from the brief selection provided o the exam. I will provide you with two Blue Books in which to compose your essay.

WARNING: DO NOT LOOK UP TOPICS ABOUT OR INTERPRETATIONS OF THE LITERATURE ON THE INTERNET. We have searched the internet for the most common interpretations of the three literary pieces, and have catalogued those interpretations. If you write on one of these topics, your essay will be discarded.
